This ancient Chinese philosophy of creating harmonious environments is what you personally are about to become aware of in your home.
According to this practice there are five factors which purport to determine your fate and fortune. They are, in order of importance:
· Destiny (Ba Zi) - what we are born with (4 Pillars). · Luck - which appears during the various phases of our lives (Luck Pillars). · Feng Shui - remedial steps to enhance our fortune or alleviate the severity of fortune. · Our virtues, philanthropic attitudes and deeds towards mankind. · Education, exposure and experience in the life from which we can draw wisdom.
The first two we do not have control over (70%), as they are imprinted upon us as we enter and travel through this life. This technique involves the translation of each of the four components of a person's birth data - year, month, day and local hour - into a pair of Chinese characters. Each pair, one a heavenly stem, the other an earthly branch, is called a pillar. The ba zi, or eight characters is primarily concerned with the balance of the 5 elements in an individual and how it changes with the influence of time. Analysis of the ba zi can reveal information about a person's character and health, as well as their natural and affinity for money, marriage and carrier (including what type of career). Having determined the balance of elements for an individual, it can be improved by consideration of the relationships one has, people one encounters, choices of mental activity, expressions of career & interests, clothing, colors, diet, physical environment and Feng Shui.
The analysis of luck is an extension of the month pillar and forms the influences which affect us over time in 10 year periods.
Feng Shui teaches us how to create harmony and balance around us. This means that if we pay attention to our environment, we will find ways of creating different realities in our lives. Literally translated from Chinese, Feng Shui (Wind & Water). This is actually an inadequate interpretation due to the complexities of translating Chinese calligraphy into English. It actually means "water star that flies on the wind". A few symbols in Chinese can tell an entire story. Actually, Feng Shui is another expression of the oneness and interconnectedness of all things. This is an essential concept in understanding how our essence relates to everything else around us including our environment. As one begins to sense this oneness we then find that it is possible to gather insight from looking at our environment with "larger eyes". It is often said that Feng Shui teaches us what we already know. Most of this awareness can be experienced or understood in theta state.
The goal of Feng Shui is to help you use deeply processed awareness information to arrange your reality in more harmonious ways to bring health, prosperity and good fortune to you life.
There are three main areas to be dealt with in Feng Shui analysis in varying degrees:
1. Form school 2. Flying Star school Calculate your flying stars here ! 3. Compass shool
Form analysis compares your dwelling with your immediate environment, what I like to call the launch point for the amount and sort of chi which is available to your house, which comes through the Min Tang in front.
The second is Flying Star, representing influences of time in space. It is based on 9 fate periods, each of 20 years duration. Specific meanings and interpretations are given to various combinations of numbers (stars), with special significance being given to the mountain and water stars. This perspective focuses on the significance of changing forces during different periods. The process highlights the intangible forces of numbers, thereby explaining that good or bad luck/directions caused by harmony or lack thereof in the environment are transitory inn natures. A Lo-Shu (the magical sequencing of numbers 1-9 on a grid) based numerological horoscope is cast for your home based on which age the house was first completed/lived in.
Each number has relative luck in this age of Eight (8) from most beneficial to the least beneficial: 8-9-1-6-4-7-3-2-5 ..... As well as relative strength in this age: 2, 3, 4 & 5 are dead, 6 & 7 are weak, 1 is strong, 9 stronger and 8 strongest.
Until 2024 generally speaking, each of the numbers has special significance on its' own:
7 - past prosperity, fire, theft, casualties, finacial gain, fertility, competition and destruction
Flying star Feng Shui is the most powerful form that we use. It is the remaining 30% of your destiny. It is an analysis of the five elements, land formations and star combinations that occupy your building. Each Chinese New Year these annual stars change.bringing different energy. In addition to the energy pattern cast over your home or office when you construct it, every year and month the energies change and one can suppress or enhance the sectors of your choice. Every building throughout the world will have these changing annual stars and you will need to take into account their ability to cause harm ranging from, sickness, wealth problems, legal problems, gossip, relationship problems and just overall bad luck and of course their ability to give auspicious good luck in wealth, health, romance, education and overall good well being.
Compass School diagnostics uses the 8 Trigrams of the I Ching, the 8 sided pa kua symbol, and the Lo Shu magic square comparing a fixed chi in each dwelling to individual members of your family and the function of each room in the house have limited use and are touched upon occasionally in the analysis.
